For those with eating disorders, overcoming body image problems and fear of food can be a years-long battle. According to some, social media offers a fierce weapon: #recovery.
A little background on me for those of you who don't know 🤗 I've had an eating disorder since 1st grade.😬 But I feel the most free I have ever felt in my life at this moment in time. I post my food to show others you don't have to fear it. 🙅🏻 I'm here to show those people struggling (and myself) that everything "fits," in moderation. 👌🏻 I sometimes don't eat the entire dish in my pics, as I've said before. Sometimes I don't eat what I post at all, but I SAY that in my post. 👍🏻 Please think before you comment. Everyone's way of eating is different, and you don't know what they've been through. 🙅🏻There is no "right" or "perfect" way to eat. And if you disagree, that's fine. You do you 💁🏻 This is just what my account stands for. 🙊💕 #moderationnotdeprivation #throwbackthursday #balance
