Sharon Weston Broome isn’t thinking about her next campaign; she’s thinking about her citizens: “For me, it was a calling, because I had no name recognition, I had no money, and I ran against a 12-year incumbent. I’ve never identified myself as courageous, but I do think of myself as someone who does what I feel needs to get done. I don’t look at obstacles or obstructions; I’m just focused on a goal.
