Seamstress Reunites Brides With Wedding Gowns After Store Abruptly Closes (ABC News)

When Rose Ellis, a seamstress from Tulsa, Oklahoma, picked up a batch of wedding dresses to alter from the Alfred Angelo Bridal store in Oklahoma City earlier this month, she learned the store was closing forever at the end of the day. The problem: Dozens of paid-for dresses were to remain behind.So Ellis literally took the matter into her own hands, bundling up 60 dresses and taking them home with her. Once home, she started calling the brides, offering to complete their alterations and return their dresses to them at no additional charge.According to ABC News, Ellis had worked with the store for seven years and isn't sure what the future holds for her now that it's closed:

"All I can do is wait and see," Ellis said. "But I can just say, 'Hey, if my girls are taken care of and they can walk down the aisle with a smile, there’s no worries.'"
